Like me, Rhea is a mom of boys. Three of them, all within 18 months of each other. She has also been a surrogate twice and when I first met her, she was carrying triplets for a French couple. So yeah. Needless to say, she's awesome. And not only is she awesome, she was kind enough to reciprocate by giving me this week's Tuesday Ten (so I could
Give her some love y'all!
1. Battling wits with a six year old is exhausting and you will never win.
2. Setting my iPhone alarm to go off at 11am every day so the boys can play the "clean up" game is the very best idea I ever had. Ever.
3. Coming up with 10 clever things to say is much harder than I expected. Actually, coming up with anything clever to say is really hard for me sometimes.
4. No matter how much your children beg and insist on walking .25 miles to/from school DO NOT let them talk you into it! Going to school was a breeze...it was all down hill. Coming home uphill in 95 degree temps is not fun and your children will bitch and moan the whole way back. Save your ears and just say "no."
5. I really want another tattoo.
6. What is up with True Blood bringing in every single mythical creature ever? The show was good when it was just hot naked vampire's running around nailing everyone, but now I have to pay attention to who has what powers and who is enemies with who. It's exhausting.
7. I'm exhausted.
8. All three of my boys will start school in one week. I plan on coming home and sleeping all damn day and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
9. Adderall was sent from Heaven.
10. I am going to Las Vegas this weekend and I just want to lay around in my hotel room bed watching movies and ordering room service. This will be the first time in (nearly) 7 years that I will have two days to myself. No fighting. No screaming. No wiping someone else's ass. No fixing breakfast. No fixing dinner. No 30 minute hunts for missing toys, shoes, favorite shirts, etc. It will be BLISSFUL.
